GAP.8
Constance, 17. - 20.9. 2012
The eighth international conference organized by the Society for Analytic Philosophy (GAP) will take place in Constance (Germany), September 17-20 2012. Co-hosted by the Department of Philosophy of the University of Constance, the title of GAP.8 is "What may we believe? What ought we to do?"
GAP.8 will feature three plenary lectures:
- Opening Lecture | Peter M.S. Hacker (Oxford)
- Erkenntnis-Lecture | Ulrich Blau (Munich)
- Closing Lecture | Roy Sorensen (St. Louis)
In honour of Rüdiger Bittner (Bielefeld), recipient of the GAP Frege-Award 2012, there will be a colloquium with Sarah Buss (Ann Arbor) and Thomas E. Hill Jr. (Chapel Hill) as invited speakers.
In addition there will be ten colloquia featuring more than 30 further international invited speakers.
